Coach as Energy Manager - "Working with the Field"
CSA will be running a half day workshop on Energy Management followed by a short series of four teleclasses held fortnightly. This workshop, plus the teleclasses are the first of a unique opportunity for you to experience cutting edge practice and theory using principles from quantum physics and combining them with central concepts in coaching.
This half day workshop will introduce you to the basic quantum physics concepts and explore the link between them and their application to coaching. The subsequent teleclasses will aid and support your understanding through more in-depth exploration of these powerful concepts and their impact on your coaching. To support this, each of the teleclasses will be themed and will be set in the context of coaching supervision, enabling participants to present case studies thereby looking at active situations in which to apply the teaching and principles of that week’s topic
The areas addressed within the workshops will be:
Understanding the principles of the Field and how to use them in coaching.
What is the Field? How is relevant to coaches? Working with the Field experientially
The Heart of Coaching – understanding Coaching Principles within the context of the Field.
he Working Alliance – Understanding and working with the energy fields set up in within the connection of the coaching.
Coaching Presence – being there; tuning into the Field, dancing and flowing within it. Holding the energetic space to support your client to be the best they can be.
Developing Intuition. – how to increase your awareness of and connection with the Field and use it to improve your coaching practice.
These themes will be dealt with in greater depth in the teleclassess.
Leading the workshop and teleclassess will be Miriam Orriss, who has been a practitioner for many years and helped to establish the first supervision service for coaches in the UK together with Edna Murdoch. Miriam is now a Senior Tutor and Coach Supervisor with CSA. CSA works with coaching companies such as Full Potential Group, DBM, Faraday Partnership and Hanover Foundations. Miriam has been studying The Field since the late nineties and has presented at the AMT Conference in 06 on the principles of Energy Management, and has run several series of Teleclasses on this topic. Energy Management is a fundamental part of the Full Spectrum Model of Supervision devised by CSA and an essential tool taught within the CSA Coaching Supervision Diploma.
