Training in using Transpersonal Skills in Coaching
‘In-depth coaching is an invaluable resource for helping people clear away their defensive shields and self-imposed blockages, so they can more readily experience their own inner guidance. Hearing and obeying the ‘still small voice within’ early enough may be a good way to avert a crisis and coaching can certainly contribute to that.’ Sir John Whitmore.
Coaching is maturing rapidly. Both Executive and Personal coaches are being asked to work at deeper levels than ever before. Experienced coaches who are ready to attend to the full range of human experience and who to wish to become proficient in transpersonal work, will find this course ideal.
The course will equip coaches with maps, models and tools that will enable them to work powerfully and deeply with their clients, to practise meta skills and an imaginative style of attention. They will learn an approach which sees life as a journey of the soul, in which we seek meaning and purpose.
The transpersonal tradition has pioneers such as Assagoli, Jung, Plotinus, Corbin, Hillman, Wilber and Rollo May; it works with body mind and soul so that we co-operate with the processes of life in such a way, that we align ourselves with what is emerging. Participants will develop skills in working with classic models and practices from the field of Transpersonal Psychology.
‘Intrinsically life wants to move; all we have to do is remove the obstacles. John Welwood.
