“Who we are is how we coach” was said by a wise lady (thanks Edna) and I believe the same is true of supervision. Therefore I offer an hour’s free consultation session for people who are thinking of working with me as a coach or supervisor; please contact me if you are interested.
I offer supervsion to coaches who want to work with clients at a deeper more connected level. By creating a trusting supportive relationship the client is able to access more of themselves and being more to the coaching dynamic. The coach in turn has the support and guidance of supervision so is able to hold and work with all aspects of the client's experience. My coaching experience is with people who are relatively successful in most areas of their lives but who come to coaching because they are struggling with subtle or hidden obsessions or addictions, e.g. self destructive behaviour around work, relationships, food, sex, alcohol and drugs. They tend to seek out coaching rather than counselling because they are not completely out of control, but they recognise that their behaviour in that area is not as they would wish it to be.
