Still Point, Shifting World: Supervision That Responds

In a world that often feels fast-moving, fragmented, and uncertain, supervision offers something rare: a still point. A space to pause, reflect, reconnect and respond with integrity and insight.

This conference invites you to step into that space. To gather with fellow supervisors, coaches, and reflective practitioners to explore how coaching supervision can remain dynamic, relevant, and responsive in a time of global shifts and local complexity.

We chose this title because it speaks to the heart of our practice, the balance between steadiness and adaptability. Between anchoring ourselves in deep professional values, while also evolving to meet what today’s world asks of us.

You can expect a rich mix of perspectives, practices, and conversations. Whether you attend one session or stay for the whole day, we hope you’ll find something that nourishes your work and strengthens your connection to the wider community.

At the heart of this gathering...

is a shared understanding: the world needs supervisors who can hold steady in the swirl of complexity, who can host conversations that are not only professionally robust but also deeply human.

The Coaching Supervision Academy, along with its internationally recognised and accredited Diploma in Coaching Supervision, was created with this very intention, blending elegant rigour with an experiential approach to learning that honours both the evolution of human consciousness and the foundations of supervision theory and practice.

As coaching matures to meet the demands of our times, from navigating uncertainty and trauma to nurturing the green shoots of regeneration, supervision must rise with it. This conference invites you into that ongoing evolution. It’s an opportunity to explore how supervision can meet the full range of what our clients are bringing: from professional development to profound human experience.

Put the time aside — not just for CPD, but for yourself!

Webinar 2: Being with the Unknown – Stillness in the Groundless Ground
Do we undersell the possibilities of supervision when, faced with complexity, uncertainty and emergence, we turn to the comfort of familiar habits, frameworks, or experts? What opens when we allow ourselves to stay with not-knowing? What inquiries are invoked when we stay with not knowing? What sensibilities become available? How does the still point emerge?

This session will be a collective experiential exploration of being with unknowing — if we knew what this space would bring to us, we wouldn’t be entering with the openness of inquiry that will be the very quality we are exploring.
Facilitator: Dr. Will Medd, CSA UK Programme Lead

Webinar 3: What Is Mine To Do? Supervision, Self, and the Shifting World
Drawing inspiration from Charles Eisenstein’s question, “What is mine to do?”, this session invites us into the heart of supervision practice. Together we’ll consider: Who am I, and where am I in relation to what I’m experiencing in the world? How do these questions shape who I am as a supervisor, and the way I meet my clients?

This will be an open, emergent space shaped by dialogue and what arises with those present.
Facilitator: Miriam Orriss, CSA Co-Founder

The CIRCLES framework provokes a deep dive into seven elements present in the lifecycle of a supervision group. This interactive session invites participants to reflect on their own transition from individual to group supervision.

For those hesitant about group settings, CIRCLES offers a structure to support readiness. For those with established group practice, it provides a framework to refine and expand practice, informed by global research findings.
