A Programme as a Way of Being

The CSA Japan Diploma offers an integrated learning journey for experienced coaches seeking to develop professional excellence in supervision. Combining comprehensive teaching, practical application, and deep self-inquiry, the programme launched its first cohort online in 2024.

Aligned with CSA’s global standards, participants learn and practise multiple supervision models, receive close tutorial support in a small cohort, and grow through a structured blend of theory, dialogue, and reflection. Delivered entirely in Japanese, the program provides a supportive environment while enabling coaches to build a solid and internationally recognised foundation as professional supervisors.

What’s distinctive in your region?

Although coaching in Japan is well established, opportunities to study supervision in Japan have been limited. CSA Japan responds to this need as the only EMCC-accredited supervisor training programme currently available in Japanese. The programme is designed to honour the depth and subtle nuance of the Japanese language and the cultural context in which coaches work, while also giving participants direct access to CSA’s global faculty through live workshops—bringing international presence into a culturally attuned learning space. A growing graduate community from the first cohort now supports the next as “Grads,” creating a learning ecosystem that blends Japan’s depth and delicacy of inquiry with internationally recognised standards.

CELEBRATING OUR SECOND JAPANESE PROGRAMME

Building on the huge success of the past 10 years in the Asia Pacific, we are delighted to offer our second Japanese cohort in 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for coaches, supervisors, and leaders to deepen their skills and practice by becoming accredited graduates of the CSA Diploma in Coaching Supervision.

Since the Diploma was first accredited in 2005, CSA’s Faculty has grown steadily, enabling us to bring the programme to an international audience. With a strong team, it quickly established a valued place in the coaching supervision community across the Asia Pacific and Chinese region. Always adapting to new research and reflecting current thinking in the field, CSA continues to model the same ethos and high standards for learning.
